EMERGICON expands leadership with new VP of Finance

New VP of Finance

EMERGICON, the largest EMS and ambulance billing company in Texas, has recently expanded its leadership with the selection of Rahim Fancy as Vice President of Finance. Rahim joins the Leadership team of EMERGICON and EMERGIFIRE to lead team members and support the vision of Founder and CEO, Christopher Turner.

With 12 years of experience in the field, Rahim assumes the responsibility of leading EMERGICON’s Accounting, Compliance, Quality Assurance, Quality Improvement, and Human Resources teams. A background of working in healthcare has enabled Rahim to build the skill set required to strategically lead his area of responsibility. “I’ve worked across different specialties of healthcare. This industry is a wonderful space. I love the depth and breadth of complexity that can go on and how things can happen. It’s a fun, challenging area that allows us to find many levers to help drive the business,” stated Rahim.

Operating from the idea of “driving a broader change”, Rahim is passionate about developing connections and work opportunities across departments. He recognizes data as a crucial and reliable source of information with benefits for distinct areas. “Supporting my peers through my work is something I keep in mind. My goal is to provide the numbers they need to see what enables them to be successful,” Rahim said.

The mission and leadership approach are two outstanding aspects of EMERGICON in Rahim’s eyes. “After a meeting with the leadership team, I could sense their dedication to each other, the company, and the employees,” noted Fancy. “Also, it’s clear that EMERGICON stands by its admirable mission. It’s amazing to be part of something that helps first responders in all the craziness they go through,” completed.

As the VP of Finance, Rahim’s plans for the company are to explore opportunities to drive growth. “My focus at the moment is assessing and rebuilding to bring the best-in-class approach. The goal is to ensure that those pieces are aligned, and everything is humming along effectively. Additionally, I am excited to be part of the conversation about strategies to move forward, change, and improve.”

Rahim holds a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University. Rahim and his wife have three daughters and live in North Texas. A special talent of Rahim’s is his ability to speak 3 languages – English, Spanish, and Urdu.

EMERGICON, founded in 2006, exists to serve first responders, so they can serve their communities. Through EMS and ambulance billing, strategic consulting, and industry-leading analytics, EMERGICON serves more EMS agencies in the state of Texas than any other EMS billing company.
