Christopher Turner, CEO and founder of EMERGICON, is a Texas native with a Master’s of Healthcare Administration from Texas State University. He has extensive experience in healthcare financial management and has specialized in pre-hospital emergency management for more than 20 years. He is an active member of emergency medicine organizations across Texas.
In 2006, he started EMERGICON, LLC. Under Christopher’s leadership, every EMERGICON client has experienced increased revenues, reduced complaints, and maintained or re-established legal compliance.
Linda Ford is a Texas native with more than 30 years of experience in healthcare billing and collection, spending nearly all of that time as a manager. She helps clients get out of the red and into the black while maintaining or establishing legal compliance. As an expert at finding hidden money, she discovers revenue sources that are often ignored, overlooked and uncollected. Linda pays close attention to the most mundane, tedious, minute details and ensures her staff does as well. As a manager, she has the unique ability to identify an employee’s talents and build upon them to reinforce job satisfaction and increase clients’ returns.
Linda’s decades of experience include ambulance billing, physician billing and documentation training. In the past, she has been the Billing Manager for a prominent air ambulance provider and Business Manager for a popular doctor’s office.
Linda is often the main point of contact for EMERGICON clients, which results in consistent customer satisfaction. She is responsible for ensuring EMERGICON staff are well-trained in billing, collections and coding. Linda is well known within the EMS billing industry as intelligent, friendly, organized and effective.
Michelle Boyd has more than a decade of experience in ambulatory transportation and related healthcare billing, insurance, and operations roles. She oversees all EMERGICON reimbursement services and team members including billing, collections, payment posting, and accounts receivable transactions, as well as the QA and compliance accuracy that supports these steps.
Michelle earned her MBA in Healthcare Management from Baker College and her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Bethany College.
Brant Stovall brings almost 30 years of experience to EMERGICON.
Brant has a distinctive combination of skills, having served as a paramedic—both ground and air transport—and also working on the sales and account management side of EMS services. Along with company management, he oversees EMERGICON’ s expansion efforts.
Stovall earned his EMT Certification from the University of Texas at Arlington. He also holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor, Basic Trauma Life support Instructor, Basic C.P.R. Instructor, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Provider and as a Critical Care Paramedic (UMB).
Brant’s knowledge of emergency services, as well as sales and marketing, make him a perfect fit for EMERGICON.
John Norsworthy has more than 30 years of experience in the Information Technology and Voice/Data Communications fields. John has worked with firms such as Microsoft, EDS, and Triad Data, and has held senior IT management positions while working with TIG Insurance, CTG, and DCRI. He also has served honorably in the U.S. Army as a Data Communications Specialist.
Mr. Norsworthy oversees all aspects of EMERGICON’s Information Technology as well as all voice and data Communications. He also lends his depth of experience and management skills to the EMERGICON Leadership Team.
Russ Watkins is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Texas and came to the DFW metroplex shortly after graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He has over 30 years of experience working for small and large companies as well as charitable organizations.
