EMERGICON REVIEWS & TESTIMONIALS
Emergicon is more than our billing agency; EMERGICON is our partner in EMS. Christopher and his staff do a phenomenal job assisting us with our billing needs, collections and answering all of our questions. He and his staff return phone calls and e-mails as prompt as one could hope for. The customer service provided is top notch. Our collections have increased 25% in the first year with the same average call volume. Access to the billing information is easy to navigate and available 24/7. Christopher’s connections in the EMS world have benefited our agency and our customers. Our partnership with Emergicon has certainly helped El Campo EMS to become a stronger service. When our patients call to ask billing questions, I know they are in good hands. I simply cannot say enough about the results achieved by Christopher Turner and his team. Thank you EMERGICON!
In this economy, Emergicon is making a significant increase to our bottom line. They bring stability, credibility and unmatched expertise, providing careful and thorough review of every ambulance claim.
Our hospital-based EMS service selected EMERGICON as a result of an endeavor to outsource our billing to someone who specializes in the intricacies of EMS billing. The personal interaction and commitment exhibited by Emergicon has been the key to realizing this was a good decision. They made a careful study of our previous in-house billing system, analyzed our existing fee schedule to ensure we were within acceptable industry standards, offered guidance on key reporting issues to facilitate improved collections, did all the legwork and guided us through the necessary steps for our Medicare Part B approval. I refer to “EMERGICON” as an entity, but it is more in line with a group of actual people from the CEO down. Every interaction is with an actual person who is very knowledgeable, eager to help, courteous, friendly and very timely in all responses and requests. My job is made easier with this partnership and I truly appreciate each of their team members.
Cooke County EMS transitioned to EMERGICON in November 2014. We have had previous experiences with other billing providers. It has been our experience that Emergicon has been doing an outstanding job for Cooke County. We have noticed a significant decrease in appeals, and the appeals we do receive are taken care of immediately. They bill the “right way the first time.” The entire staff that we work with are friendly, professional and all of our questions are answered quickly and accurately. They also have great follow-up skills. We have noticed a steady increase in our collections without the headaches we had with other billing providers.
The drawing factor to EMERGICON in the beginning was the fact that each account was actually touched by a person and there is much less reliance on automation as well as they are a local Texas business involved in the EMS community which I think makes them more accountable. As an agency, we have better satisfied customers/patients which makes our job much easier. The calls from frustrated patients have significantly decreased and just in the first quarter of 13/14 our collections have increased by over 34% versus the same time period last year with our previous billing company. I feel like every claim is handled with a very hands on approach instead of just handling the “easy” claims…If there is any sort of a problem (such as signatures or missing documentation, etc.) the agency is notified within a matter of days to correct instead of it just being tossed aside. The methodology and commitment to their customers is truly what makes the partnership a success! I wish we had decided to work with Emergicon a long time ago….It’s very hard to argue with a 34% increase in collections!
