Texas’ Premier Ambulance Billing Service Provider Names Michael Iglio as Chief Operating Officer

(FORNEY, TX – June 18, 2018) – EMERGICON, Texas’ largest ambulance billing provider, is proud to announce the appointment of Michael Iglio to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). Iglio brings two decades of experience in operations leadership with an impressive track record of results and a strong reputation for developing people and processes with companies such as PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay and Frontera Strategies. Throughout his career, Iglio has been recognized for his customer-focused bias for action, ability to build infrastructure in support of growth, and his ability to orchestrate successful “turnarounds” in the teams, facilities, and organizations he has led.

As COO, Iglio will assume responsibility for EMERGICON’s emergency billing services and team members, including the departments of human resources, billing, finance, collections, payment posting, accounts receivable as well as quality assurance and compliance. Iglio will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the company while always providing the highest possible customer service to our clients.

“The addition of Michael to our team has been huge. He is already making a positive impact as our Vice President of Operations,” says EMERGICON’s President and CEO, Christopher Turner. “He has also been instrumental in the implementation of EMERGICON’s Core Values and Behaviors, as well as an operational system that will allow us to continue to exceed our clients’ expectations.”

“After twenty years focused on improving processes and developing people, I am excited to be a part of the important work EMERGICON is doing,” Iglio says. “With the right people in the right seats, all focused on providing incredible service and best outcomes for our clients, EMERGICON will lead the emergency medical billing industry in Texas.”

Michael earned his BS in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
